Who we are

Bowdly Learning Co. runs Bowdly and is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: support@bowdly.com.

What we collect and why

• Account data (email, sign-in details, name, goal): to create and run your account. Basis: contract.
• Practice content (typed answers, voice recordings and their transcripts, ledger words, scores, reports): to provide coaching and track progress. Recordings are transcribed and not kept as audio. Basis: contract.
• Team data (emails a team owner adds to a seat): to give those people access. Basis: legitimate interests.
• Technical data (IP address, device and browser information, usage logs): for security, fraud and abuse prevention, rate limits on the free audit, and improving the product. Basis: legitimate interests.
• Support messages: to answer you. Basis: contract and legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

• Service providers who host the app, store data and run AI processing for coaching, under contract and only on our instructions.
• Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, managing subscriptions, payments, tax and invoicing.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
• Authorities where the law requires.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the UK and EEA. Where they do, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account in Settings, your practice data is deleted. We keep limited records longer only where the law requires, then delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export (Settings → Export), delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. In the UK and EEA you may complain to your data protection authority; in India, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act. We answer requests within one month.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted to your own account by design, and we limit staff access.

Cookies

We use only essential storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences. No advertising or analytics cookies.
