Terms of Service

1. Who you are contracting with

Bowdly is provided by Bowdly Learning Co. (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or continuing to use Bowdly, you agree to these terms and are contracting with Bowdly Learning Co.. You must be at least 16, or the age of legal majority where you live, and if you use Bowdly for an organisation you confirm you may bind it.

2. The service

Bowdly is an articulation coach: lessons, drills, AI sparring and debate, audits, diagnostics and progress records. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it within your plan.

3. Your account

Keep your sign-in details confidential and your information accurate. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse Bowdly, including: unlawful use; fraud or spam; infringing anyone's intellectual property; uploading malware, probing, scraping or interfering with security; reverse engineering, reselling or circumventing plan limits; or using the AI features to create illegal, hateful, harassing or deceptive content (including impersonation or deepfakes) or to bypass safeguards.

5. AI features and your content

You are responsible for what you submit and how you use the results, and you must have the right to submit it. You keep ownership of your answers and recordings; you give us a limited licence to host and process them only to provide the service. AI feedback can be wrong or incomplete. It is coaching, not legal, academic, admissions or professional advice. Check anything important yourself. We may remove or restrict content, filter outputs, or suspend accounts that break these terms. Rights-holders can report content to support@bowdly.com; repeated infringement leads to termination.

6. Our intellectual property

Bowdly Learning Co. owns Bowdly, its software, content, documentation and branding. Passages quoted in the app are in the public domain.

7. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Dodo Payments, the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Dodo Payments handles payment, billing, renewal, tax, invoices and returns. Subscriptions renew each period until cancelled; you can cancel any time from Settings and keep access until the period ends. See our Refund Policy.

8. Availability

We work to keep Bowdly running well but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious breaches of these terms. You may stop using Bowdly and delete your account at any time in Settings; your data is then deleted.

10. Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything that cannot be limited by law. You will indemnify us for claims arising from your content or unlawful use.

11. General

Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger or sale. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, without removing any mandatory consumer rights where you live. Questions: support@bowdly.com.
